No evidence exists that use of Singulair, an asthma/allergy drag, increases the risk of depression or suicide, according to data from three clinical trials. The trials, conducted by the American Lung Association, are highlighted in the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. The drug is also known by the genetic name of montelukast.
